Passions and Interests:
I am a Senior at San Marin High School. I am in the STEM Marin program and I also am in jazz band. I do multiple outside of school activities like speech and debate and Boy Scouts. I am also a member of Aviation Explorer Post 31 and volunteer at the Gnoss Field Community Association.
I enjoy doing hands-on projects and creating things so I do a lot of 3D printing. I made two hyperspheres from the game Overwatch and have made many other prints ranging from airplanes to LEGO minifigures. The different hands-on projects that I complete in my free time aligns with my passion for engineering and building.

My interests in both engineering and aviation have led me to focus on aerospace engineering as the engineering field that I want to further study in the future.
Additionally, one of my main interests is LEGO. I enjoy collecting rare and exclusive sets and minifigures. I also make my own custom creations in person and online using Bricklink Stud.io. The image to the left is a rare set I was able to get when visiting the LEGO headquarters in Billund, Denmark. |

"Looking at an object like an Extraterrestrial"
|
Process Reflection:
I decided to analyze a kazoo and record details about the object as if I were an extraterrestrial. I started with some questions and then included answers to some of these questions and other general observations about the object. While observing a simple object like a kazoo, I was surprised by the amount of details and observations I was able to record. It was very interesting to consider the kazoo from many different viewpoints and try to find ways to write about the object beyond just the visual aspects. I was able to write about topics relating to aesthetics, music, science, and culture in the notes I took when analyzing the kazoo. |
