Overall, the project went well. We had some slight issues trying to get the prototype working on the presentation day but by the end we were able to get everything working. At the start, the microphone was working but the speaker was not functioning properly. Luckily, we were able to fix this issue by the end of the class. We also had some slight issues with the presentation being outside. It was hard to see the monitor with the RoboBuddy website pulled up so in the future we would want to find a way to make the screen easier to see in a bright environment. In the end, we were able to successfully finish all the assigned work to complete our project.
Throughout the project, our team was able to work together to demonstrate the NUSD 6 C's. By using a discord chat, we were able to communicate outside the classroom and share resources. We tested accents from all around the world to make sure our product will work all around the world. Using a Gantt chart, we successfully managed our time to meet project deadlines. We encountered many problems with our prototype that required unique thinking to successfully fix. We worked together as a team to develop the product. Our main goal was to build the character of young children. By doing all these tasks, we developed our communication skills, cultural competence, conscientious learning skills, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills, and character.
